The Kane Chronicles

The Throne of Fire is the second installment in The Kane Chronicles book series by  The New York

Times #1 best selling author Rick Riordan. The book takes place 2 months after the events of The

Red Pyramid (first installment in the series). The main characters Carter and Sadie Kane on on a

quest to find the 3 sections of the book of Ra the Egyptian god of the sun. They have to do this in 5

days or Apophis the god of chaos will break free from his prison in the Duat on the Spring equinox.

In the book the chapters swich between being narrated by Carter and Sadie. There is a few different

conflicts going on with Carter trying to locate and rescuse Zia Rashid, (read first book) and Sadie

with her crush on Anubis god of death and funerals (also see first book). Plus in this book Sadie

starts to have feelings fo another guy who is one of the many initiates that Carter and Sadie teach at

the Twentyfirst Nome. I am only so far in the book so give me a couple days or more and I will bring

ya'll up to speed on the rest of the book for those who have read the series and don't remember all of

it or those who have not read it if this spoils somethings to you then I am truely sorry from one book

worm to another.
